NCUMM Conference Prayer Advocate 

The Work of the Conference Prayer Advocate

 Assist the district UMM president in recruiting District Prayer Advocates (DPAs)

through consultation with the district superintendent.

 Orient DPAs to the work of a prayer advocate.

 Help in recruiting Local Church Prayer Advocates (LCPA).

 Promote The Living Prayer Center prayer line, prayer wall, and covenant prayer groups.

 Publicize The Living Prayer Center telephone number (1-800-251-2468), URL

(http://prayer-center.upperroom.org), and social media pages (Facebook:

@UpperRoomLPC; Twitter: @UpperRoomLPC; and Instagram: UpperRoomLPC).

 Raise at least $1,000 to support the ministry of The Living Prayer Center.

 Advertise the resources and programs of The Upper Room.

 Participate in events The Upper Room offers.

 Expand the work of annual conference remote prayer centers and covenant prayer

groups.

 Communicate regularly with The Living Prayer Center staff.

 Train the incoming CPA.
